Editorial Guidelines & Ethics
Briefzio is dedicated to uncompromising accuracy, objectivity, and technological precision. Discover our rigorous standards for verification and attribution.
1. Fact-Checking & Verification Methodology
Every briefing published on Briefzio undergoes multi-layered verification before going live. We do not publish speculative rumors, unverified social media claims, or third-party regurgitation. A story is only cleared for publication if backed by:
- Primary SEC filings (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Form D funding filings).
- Official corporate disclosures, press releases, or whitepapers directly from verifiable engineering teams.
- Public code repositories (GitHub, Hugging Face, arXiv peer-reviewed preprints).
- Confirmation by accredited top-tier news wires (Reuters, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, The Verge).
2. Source Attribution & Direct Citation
Briefzio respects the hard work of on-the-ground investigative reporters. When our executive briefs summarize primary reporting first uncovered by another outlet, we explicitly provide prominent attribution both in the brief header and in our dedicated "Journalistic Transparency" box at the footer of the article, linking directly to the original wire.
3. AI Transparency & Human Editorial Oversight
While Briefzio leverages computational pipelines to parse real-time global feeds and data structures, every briefing is reviewed under human editorial governance overseen by Founder & Chief Editor Hardeep Singh. Content is strictly prohibited from publishing without deterministic guardrails ensuring original architectural commentary, zero hallucination, and factual parity.
4. Transparent Corrections Policy
Accuracy is our chief currency. When a factual error is brought to our attention, we correct the brief immediately. We append a transparent "Correction Notice" at the top of the affected brief stating what was changed, when, and the revised factual context.
To report a factual inaccuracy, email our corrections desk directly at: editorial@briefzio.com.
